BS2000CBT Traditional Sauna Cabin
A genuine Finnish sauna experience in a compact, clean-lined two-person cabin. Built in White Cedar with an 8mm tempered glass door, the BS2000CBT delivers the deep, dry heat of a traditional hot-stone sauna without demanding a large footprint — making it a considered choice for both indoor rooms and garden settings.
Where infrared warms the body from within at lower ambient temperatures, a traditional sauna works differently. The 6kW heater — included as standard — raises the cabin to a genuinely hot, dry heat. The löyly ritual is yours whenever you want it: ladle water across the hot stones and humidity spikes sharply for a minute or two before the dry heat reasserts itself. It is a fundamentally different session — shorter, more intense, and rooted in centuries of Nordic practice.
The timber choice matters here. White Cedar is pale, even-grained and dimensionally stable — it holds its shape through the relentless wet-dry cycling a sauna puts timber through, and it gives the interior a brighter, more contemporary feel than darker red cedars.

Frequently asked questions
How does a traditional Finnish sauna differ from infrared?
A traditional sauna heats the air to 70–90°C using hot stones; infrared warms the body directly at lower temperatures. The BS2000CBT is traditional hot-stone — if you prefer infrared, the IR2000CB uses the same cabin shell with a different heat source.
Is the 6kW heater powerful enough?
Yes — 6kW is well-matched to a two-person cabin. Higher-output heaters are available as a priced upgrade for faster heat-up or larger spaces.
What does installation involve?
Our own team handles delivery and full installation across the UK. For indoor installations, all cutting is done outside as standard. Typical installation is completed in a day.
Can I add water to the stones?
Yes — the BS2000CBT is fully löyly-capable. Ladling water across the stones raises humidity sharply for a minute or two before the dry heat reasserts itself.
