A compact one-person infrared cabin in Red Cedar, at 100 × 100 cm — the smallest format we carry, and the right choice if space is limited or you are buying primarily for solo daily use. At this footprint it fits into a spare bedroom, a home gym, a utility room, or a corner of a garage without demanding significant space planning.

Infrared heat is different in kind from a traditional Finnish sauna. Rather than heating the surrounding air to high temperatures, infrared panels heat the body directly — at comfortable cabin temperatures of around 45–55°C. The result is a gentler session that you can sustain for longer: 30 to 45 minutes is typical and comfortable for most people. The depth of warmth is real even at temperatures that do not feel demanding on the respiratory system.

Frequently asked questions

How does infrared differ from a traditional Finnish sauna?
A traditional sauna heats the air to 70–100°C; you feel the heat through convection and radiant stone heat. An infrared sauna heats the body directly using infrared light waves at much lower cabin temperatures — typically 45–55°C. Sessions are longer and more comfortable for most people, particularly those sensitive to very high temperatures or steam.

Is a 1-person sauna worth buying if there are two of us?
If you plan to use it together, honestly no — the IR2120 or IR2130 will serve you better. If daily solo use is the primary purpose and space is tight, the IR1100 is a practical and cost-effective choice. We will always tell you honestly which model suits your household.

What installation does it need?
A standard 13A socket is typically sufficient for the IR1100 at this output level — confirm at pre-installation assessment. No specialist electrical work is usually required for the base infrared model.*
