Infrared saunas work differently from traditional Finnish heat. Rather than raising the air temperature to 70–100°C, infrared panels heat the body directly — at comfortable cabin temperatures of 45–55°C. Is infrared heat effective at lower temperatures?
Yes. The mechanism is different from a traditional sauna. Infrared wavelengths penetrate tissue directly, producing warmth at the muscular and circulatory level at cabin temperatures that feel comfortable rather than intense. Many regular infrared users describe the effect as comparable to a longer, gentler version of a traditional sauna session.

How quickly is the IR2130 ready to use?
Infrared cabins typically reach usable temperature in 10–15 minutes, compared to 30–45 minutes for a traditional stone heater. This is one of the main practical reasons people choose infrared for daily domestic use.
