The IR4160C is a four-person infrared cabin with chromotherapy lighting — the addition that distinguishes it from the standard IR4160. Chromotherapy uses coloured LED light to complement the infrared heat session: different colours are associated with different physiological and psychological effects, allowing you to tune the session environment to what you need from it. The feature is either useful to you or it isn't, but if it is, the IR4160C gives you the full specification without needing a separate device.

Chromotherapy is the use of coloured light as a complementary wellness aid. The evidence base is modest, and we won't overstate it — but many users find different colour environments meaningfully change the feel of a session.
