CS6000 Outdoor Cedar Sauna

A traditional outdoor Finnish sauna in a square-plan cabin format, built for four to six people and designed for permanent outdoor installation. Where barrel saunas are defined by their cylindrical form, the CS6000 is a straight-sided cedar cabin — the format that suits gardens where a more architectural, cabin-like structure works better than a curved barrel.

Traditional hot-stone heat throughout. The included 6kW heater brings the stone bed to temperature; ladle water across the stones to produce löyly and you have the full Finnish experience. Higher-output heaters are available as a priced upgrade. Red light therapy can be added for £999, installed on the same day by the same team.

Built in Canadian Red Cedar — aromatic, moisture-resistant, and a timber that improves with age in outdoor conditions. Delivered and installed by Medi-Spa's own team, with a full handover before we leave.

When would I choose a cabin-style sauna over a barrel?
A cabin-style sauna like the CS6000 tends to suit more architectural or formal garden settings, or where you need a structure that is visually aligned with the house rather than standing as a garden feature in its own right. Barrel saunas suit more naturalistic or informal gardens and have better natural heat circulation due to their curved walls — both formats use the same hot-stone heating system.

What base and electrical supply do I need?
A level, firm base — concrete pad or quality decking — and a dedicated electrical supply. We confirm everything at the pre-installation assessment.*

Can I add the red light therapy upgrade later?
It can be added as a standalone job but is significantly more cost-effective when fitted at the same time as the sauna installation. We recommend including it from the outset if you are considering it at all.
