BS6000 Outdoor Half-Glass Barrel Sauna
A four to six person barrel sauna at 270cm long — the size at which a barrel stops being a two-person cabin and becomes a room the household shares. Benches run 215cm, long enough for someone to lie down fully while others sit.
Tinted glazing across the upper front with a solid lower panel — light and view from inside, privacy at seated height from outside. Steel banding and a timber skid base, in rustic Red Cedar.
How it heats
This is a traditional hot-stone sauna. A 6kW heater, included as standard, brings a bed of stones up to temperature and the stones radiate that heat along the barrel. Ladle water across them and the humidity lifts sharply for a minute or two — the löyly that gives Finnish heat its depth.
Entirely unlike infrared, which warms the body directly at far lower air temperatures. This is real, high-temperature traditional heat, and the barrel form circulates it naturally with no square corners for it to stall in. Higher-output heaters, including Wi-Fi enabled models, are available as priced upgrades.

- Heather roof (HEIDEMATTEN) — thatched heather matting, which settles into a mature or planted garden better than any manufactured finish

Barrel saunas are not measured like square cabins. The three figures are the length of the barrel, its diameter at the widest point, and the height to the ridge — not width, depth and height. Worth having straight before you plan the base.
