A two-person infrared cabin in White Cedar with an 8mm tempered glass door. The same shell as our BS2000CBT traditional cabin — same footprint, same build — heated an entirely different way.

How it heats

This is an infrared cabin, not a hot-stone sauna. Emitters warm the body directly instead of heating the air, so the cabin runs at a much lower air temperature than a traditional Finnish sauna and is ready in minutes rather than after a long pre-heat.

In practice that means three things: no long wait before you can get in, easier breathing for anyone who finds high-temperature Finnish heat uncomfortable, and sessions long enough to sit through comfortably. If you would rather have real steam and high heat, the BS2000CBT is the same cabin with a hot-stone heater.

Why White Cedar

White Cedar is pale, even-grained and dimensionally stable — it holds its shape through the wet-dry cycling a sauna puts timber through, and gives a brighter, more contemporary interior than the darker red cedars.
